You are to submit an individual assignment based on the topic below.

  1. This assignment requires you to prescribe a 1-week exercise programme which will be followed for about 3 to 4 weeks for a client of yours. One of the goals must be on weight management and identify one or two other health and/or fitness goals. Examples of health or fitness goals could be to reduce chronic illnesses, improve cardiovascular and muscular fitness, etc.
  2. The 1-week exercise programme should include
    a. Cardiovascular fitness training
    b. Muscular fitness training
    c. Warm-up and cool-down (flexibility training)
    d. Any other fitness component(s) you deem necessary for the client
  3. Explain the rationale for your planning and training, for example explain why the need to perform cardiovascular, muscular, and flexibility exercises, etc.
  4. Provide strategies to meet the client’s weight loss goal.
