Requirements
This group-based assignment (GBA) requires you to design and conduct a simple experiment involving yourself, your group members, and/or 2–3 additional family members or friends per student, with a maximum sample size of 30 participants.
The aim is to demonstrate knowledge of humanistic theories and to show how this knowledge enhances understanding of what constitutes our “sense of identity,” as reflected in Alain de Botton’s quote:

Your group shall design a study to explore the relationship between:
- Self-actualisation: measured via the self-actualisation online questionnaire (Scott Barry Kaufman’s scale)
- Sense of identity: measured in a way aligned with de Botton’s quote, operationalised appropriately by your group
