Our Writer’s Comment

This assignment is highly structured, and marks are won or lost based on discipline and alignment. Each section carries weight and must meet its purpose within tight word limits.

Common issues we see across submissions include:

  • Poor word allocation control. Students overwrite minor sections and rush high-weight components like planning and leadership.
  • Disconnected theories. Ethics, CSR, leadership, and motivation are explained correctly but not applied convincingly to the chosen company.
  • Weak organisational analysis. Structure and culture sections remain generic and are not justified using strategy factors or company context.

High-scoring reports are precise and clearly written for a management audience.

How to Score Better for This Assignment

This is a management report.

  • Treat each section as a scoring unit. Answer exactly what is asked within the given word count.
  • Apply theories directly to the company. Explanations without company-specific examples score poorly.
  • Be strategic with the company choice. Firms with clear structures, CSR practices, and leadership visibility work best.
  • Maintain consistency throughout. SWOT, planning, structure, and leadership should not contradict each other.

Strong submissions read like internal management documents grounded in theory.
