Writer’s Comment

This TMA evaluates your ability to apply concepts of community theory to real-world contexts, both individually and within a group setting.

Common challenges include:

  • Insufficient examples in Tasks 1–3: Posts may be too abstract without linking concepts to lived experiences

  • Limited comparison with AI summaries in Task 2: Students often fail to critically evaluate differences between human interpretation and AI-generated content

  • Weak reflection in Task 4: Reflection may lack depth or evidence of personal and group insights

Strong submissions clearly:

  • Provide concrete examples for Tasks 1–3 that demonstrate understanding of community concepts

  • Offer critical evaluation of AI-generated interpretations

  • Include detailed and honest reflection on group dynamics and personal learning

General Tips to Improve Your Score

  • Be timely: Posting within 48 hours ensures you earn the full timeliness marks

  • Use evidence: Support observations with specific examples or experiences

  • Reflect critically: Consider both your contributions and your group’s dynamics
