Assignment 1 (Team Presentation)
This presentation is a chance for you to showcase your analysis and explain your findings and recommendations. You are required to pay specific attention to helping the audience understand the context of the communication event being discussed, the communicator(s) involved, and the potential audiences addressed. You are expected to convince the assessors that your analysis and recommendations are well-reasoned and appropriate.
It is important to make appropriate information selections, as you cannot present everything within the stipulated time constraints.
Assignment 2 (Team Report)
In the written report, you must clearly describe the communication event and how it arose so that the reader can accurately understand the context. You are required to maintain a precise record of all sources cited.
You should use communication theories of your choice to analyse the event and consider the audiences affected. The report should discuss the event’s implications, challenges, risks and/or opportunities, and present a detailed account of your findings and evaluation of how the event has been managed. You are required to explain what has been done well, what could have been done better, and how improvements could be made.
