Singapore University of Social Sciences

What we score:

79%

Requirements:

This End-of-Course Assessment (ECA) requires you to submit a report, a video presentation, and a PowerPoint presentation.

The report requires you to answer three questions:

Question 1 (Less than 3000 words)

CB-GPT, short for Coinbase-GPT, has been developed as Coinbase’s unified platform for generative AI (GenAI) applications, designed to address unique crypto use cases and cater to specific customer segments. Based on this context, analyze and critically evaluate the potential of CB-GPT in transforming the crypto industry.

Question 2

Prepare a video recording on Question 1(b) and 1(c) of at least 3 minutes but not exceeding 10 minutes.

Question 3

Prepare a set of PowerPoint presentation of not more than 15 slides upon which the video presentation is based.

Our Writer’s Comment

This ECA assesses students’ ability to integrate legal, technological, and financial reasoning in analysing a real-world GenAI deployment in the crypto industry. While the assessment is split into written, video, and slide components, higher-scoring submissions demonstrate a single, consistent analytical narrative across all three formats.

A common weakness in Section A is fragmentation. Weaker answers list GenAI applications, technical components, challenges, and impacts separately without showing how they interrelate within Coinbase’s business and regulatory context. Stronger submissions explain how use cases drive architectural choices, how those choices create implementation risks, and how both shape broader ecosystem outcomes such as trust, compliance, and market structure.

For Sections B and C, weaker work merely repeats the report content. Higher-quality submissions translate the analysis into a clear decision logic, focusing on why certain technical components matter and how challenges affect scalability, governance, and compliance. Overall, coherence, critical evaluation, and applied judgement distinguish stronger ECAs.

General Tips to Improve Your Score

Maintain one CB-GPT narrative throughout
Applications, architecture, challenges, and impact should reinforce one another logically.

Be selective with GenAI use cases
Choose applications that clearly add value to crypto users, exchanges, or compliance functions.

Explain technology in functional terms
Focus on what components enable, not just what they are.

Analyse challenges critically
Address data integrity, security, regulatory risk, scalability, and trust, beyond surface-level issues.

Align report, video, and slides tightly
Each format should tell the same story, adapted for clarity and assessment criteria.
