(a) This question requires you to prepare and examine a transcript of your session with a client. To do this, carry out a role play with a classmate or family member, where your classmate or family member is a client who is above 21 years old. Your role play can last for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. The client has financial concerns as the presenting issue. Your role play should exclude issues relating to suicide, family violence, child abuse, or mental health issues. Your role play may be based on fictional content. Transcribe what happened in the session, including how the session started (introduction) and ended (conclusion).

You do not need to submit your role play’s audio/video recording.

(b) Demonstrate how you have used the following FIVE (5) skills in your interview using the given format (see Annex 1). Illustrate how these skills were used in your interview. You may use the various skills more than once throughout your interview but only label and bold ONE example PER skill in your transcript as marks will be given for that particular example. Please note that you will be penalised if you do not follow this instruction. (Penalty – 3 marks to be subtracted from total marks)
