Requirements:
Read both research articles that you have been provided to determine which one you understand best and are most comfortable with. You only need to critique one of the articles. Once you have selected the article you intend to critique use the critiquing questions that you have been provided with in Module 7-12 to assist you with critiquing the relevant sections of the article. The critiquing questions are only a guide. You may discuss other points as you see fit. You do not have to answer each dot point. Do not critique the entire article. The sections that you need to critique are outlined in your unit outline.
Your submission will need to be in the form of a WORD document. Please provide a cover page with your name, student ID and the title of the article you have chosen. You do not need to include a contents page or the marking guide. Use a short answer format with sub-headings and paragraphs. Use a new sub-heading for each section. You do not need an Introduction or a Conclusion. Make sure you use literature to support your critique. You can use textbooks or journal articles.

In doing this research article critique, you are supposed to review both articles. You must read both of them so that you have an idea of which one you understand more and can make a better critique out of it. Take your time deciding on which article to critique so that you will have a a comfortable time writing and so that you won’t regret it in the end. Some students have a hard time in the middle of writing their critique because they do not fully understand the contents of the article that they have chosen. This highly likely resulted in poor marks and a low-quality critique.
To get high marks in this assessment, make use of the critiquing questions provided in modules 7 to 12 so that you have a guide in writing and giving a critique about the article. Not only that, but if you feel like discussing other points, feel free to write beyond the questions in the module. A few students forget that they do not need to critique the whole article, so they have put unnecessary work that could have been used to improve their output. Check the sections in your unit outline and see which ones you will need to critique. Also, it is important for you to use articles or textbooks that will provide support on your critique. Make sure the the different literature and information that you will use have a focal point on methods.
