You are required to work on the Marsh Inc case study and complete the tasks that are related to organisational learning. The purpose of this assignment is to provide you with the opportunity to apply the knowledge you have gained in this module to a “real-life” context. As part of this, you should demonstrate evidence of independent research, application of theory, and critical thought. It is expected that you read wider than the core text.

Imagine you are an independent advisor to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Knowledge Management Committee. In order to respond to the emerging challenges for the organisation in the next decade, organisational learning has been considered a crucial strategy as part of the wider knowledge management initiative. You are tasked to review company’s organisational learning strategy and initiatives that have been implemented by the organisation in particular the KM strategy implemented for the European implementation of Global Leadership Programme. You will produce a report to the CIO and KM Committee at the end of this task. Your report should address clearly the following issues:

What are the challenges in the case organisation’s current organisational learning strategy and initiatives?
The COVID pandemic has set a trend of remote working across sectors. This has, potentially, a significant impact on the social aspect of how people work and operate in work place. What challenges, focusing on organisational learning, could result from such dramatic change?
What are the recommendations to ensure the organisational learning strategy can succeed?
