You are the new strategic developments team for a company of your choice. The board of directors have decided to implement a new plastic reduction strategy. Your task is to brief the board of directors in a live boardroom presentation about implementing a new plastic reduction strategy across the business.
Task 1 : Report on the company’s current strategic statements (mission, values, objectives etc) and an environmental analysis of the current position of the company. Provide suggestions of a how a new plastic initiation strategy will align to meet the company’s strategic statements & identify from the environmental analysis where a plastic strategy could be implemented
Task 2 : Identify at least 4 examples on how the company can strategically apply organisational capabilities & resources for the new plastics initatives. Discuss problems & issues the organisation may have with their current capabilities & resources and provide some suggestions on how to overcome this
Task 3 : Identify, analyse & evaluate the different strategic directions the company could make to implement the plastic strategy showing how t could contribute to increased organisational performance.
