You can either organise items on the list according to priority (by the soonest deadline to the furthest deadline), by importance (weightage or percentage of grades it will take up) or by the amount of time needed to complete. 3. Eliminate Procrastination Pit-Stops

The process of procrastination typically involves numerous “pit-stops” during your process of completing an assignment. Pit-stops are distractions that are disguised as a reward for your efforts or progress made thus far while doing your homework. Common pit-stops include checking social media after completing part of a task, leaving the table to do something else or simply taking a long break after only spending less than 30 minutes on your task.

To avoid prolonging the time taken to finish a task, you should try to eliminate these distractions even before you start work. You can disable notifications, put your phone on “Do Not Disturb” mode while working or simply place your phone in another room – out of sight, out of mind.
